Dear Councillor, You are hereby summoned to attend the next meeting of LEADENHAM PARISH COUNCIL on WEDNESDAY 9 FEBRUARY 2022, AT 7:30PM, at Leadenham Village Hall
This is a face-to-face meeting and Government advice regarding Covid-19 safety will be followed.
 
Parishioners Questions from 7.20 pm - 7.30 pm only. Following this session, no further questions or interruptions are allowed for the duration of the meeting.

CHAIRMAN’S OPENING REMARKS
 
1. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE. 
        To receive any apologies for absence.
        
2. DECLARATION OF INTERESTS
Members of the Parish Council are required to declare any personal or prejudicial interests they may have in any matter which is to be considered at this meeting. 
 
3. MINUTES
a) To approve the Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on 12 January 2022.
b) To approve the Minutes of the Extra-Ordinary Parish Council Meeting held on 24 January 2022.
 
4. CO-OPTION FOR VACANCIES
To receive applications for Co-option to the vacant seat on the Parish Council.
 
5. PLANNING APPLICATIONS AND ISSUES
a) Applications received:
 
i. 21/1975/RESM - Land Off Main Road Leadenham   
Proposal:  Reserved matters application for the erection of 25 dwellings with design, scale, appearance, layout and landscaping to be considered pursuant to application 18/1045/OUT - Residential development of up to 25 dwellings (outline with access to be considered)
Comments by 5 February, extended to 11 February 2022.
 
ii. 21/1886/HOUS Hillsdale 2 Crow Lane Leadenham – amendment
Proposal:  Proposed Annexe over garage previously approved on planning permission 21/0438/HOUS
Location:   Hillsdale 2 Crow Lane Leadenham 
Revised design including a reduction to single storey.
Comments by 18/02/2022.
 
b) Decisions received: 
i. 21/1804/HOUS – approved 27/01/2022. 
Erection of first floor rear extension over existing balcony. Blacksmiths Cottage Main Road, Leadenham.

7. HIGHWAYS ISSUES
a) To receive any updates regarding buses and HGVs and to consider any action required.
b) To receive any updates regarding the footpath adjacent to the railway bridge and to consider any action required.
c) To note a request from SWRA for Leadenham and Welborn PCs to consider contributing to a traffic crossing adjacent to the School. (verbal report by Clerk).
 
8. SPEEDWATCH SCHEME / SPEEDING ISSUES. 
a) Speed Indicator Device (SID – Cliff cluster Scheme):
i. The device was available for collection by Bracebridge Heath PC.
ii. To receive any reports from the Village Keeper, regarding siting etc.
 
b) Speedwatch Scheme:
i. To receive any updates regarding the call for volunteers, following publication of an item in the Three Villages Magazine, February issue.
 
9. PARISH CLERK
To consider the Parish Clerk’s Report (to follow).
 
10. CORRESPONDENCE
a) To consider correspondence (to follow).
 
11. FINANCIAL MATTERS
a) To consider the Financial Report (to follow).
b) To ratify payments made between meetings.
c) To consider any payments to be made on 9 February 2022.
d) To consider arrangements for the 2022 Internal Audit.
e) To consider banking arrangements.
 
12. PARISH FIELD/TREE PROJECT. 
To receive any updates following the event held Saturday 27 January and agree any action required.
 
13. PLAY AREA
a) Monthly reports received. 
b) To receive any updates on the new Play Area project
 
14. LITTER PICKING.
a) To receive any updates regarding litter picking.
 
15. VILLAGE HALL/LAW/BOWLS CLUB
To receive any updates regarding SLAs for the above groups.
 
16. DAMAGE TO THE GREEN
To receive any updates regarding heavy vehicles damage on the Green by driving over the grassed area and to consider any action required.
 
17. PARKING NEAR THE PRIMARY SCHOOL.
To receive any updates regarding cars collecting children from the Primary School parking on the verge and potentially damaging the grassed area. 
 
18. QUEEN’S JUBILEE 2022.
a) To consider any ideas for PC events and any actions required.
b) To consider any support which the PC could provide to community events.
 
19. MEMORIALS
To receive any information regarding the Memorials and any action required.
 
20. AGENDA ITEMS FOR NEXT MEETING. To consider any items for inclusion in the next agenda.
