Chair’s Opening Remarks. 
 
1. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE. 
To receive any apologies for absence.
       
2. DECLARATION OF INTERESTS
Members of the Parish Council are required to declare any personal or prejudicial interests they may have in any matter which is to be considered at this meeting. 
 
3. PUBLIC FORUM
To resolve to suspend the meeting to allow no more than 15 minutes of public forum.
 
4. MINUTES
To approve the Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on 13 February 2024.
 
5. PLANNING APPLICATIONS AND ISSUES
a) Applications received:
i. 24/0306/PNREN Proposal: Installation of a roof mounted solar array on 3 no. poultry unit roofs totalling 300kw. Location: Leadenham Poultry Unit Sleaford Road Leadenham Applicant: Mr George Adsetts.
An application for prior approval has been received for the proposal. The purpose of the Prior Approval procedure is to determine whether or not any further approval is required, therefore, it is not subject to the usual consultation process as the Council is only provided with 56 days in which to make a decision.
 
b) Decisions received: 
i. 23/1477/FUL Proposal: Erection of an agricultural workers dwelling and garage in connection with approved poultry farm (21/1550/FUL) Location: Leadenham Poultry Unit Sleaford Road Leadenham. Approved 29/02/2024.
 
6. REPORTS OF REPRESENTATIVES
To receive reports from the following:
a) District Councillor (DCllr Lucille Hagues, Cllr M Overton). DCllr Hagues reports can be found here
b) County Councillor (Cllr M Overton). Newsletters can be found here.
c) Leadenham Village Hall – Chair Mrs J Onley is expected to attend to give a report.
 
7. HIGHWAYS ISSUES
a) To receive any updates regarding buses and HGVs and to consider any action required.
b) To receive any updates regarding the footpath adjacent to the railway bridge and to consider any action required.
 
8. TREES ON PC LAND
a) To receive any updates.
 
9. PARISH CLERK
To consider the Parish Clerk’s Report (to follow).
 
10. CORRESPONDENCE
To consider correspondence (to follow). 
 
11. FINANCIAL MATTERS
a) To consider the Financial Report (to follow).
 
12. VILLAGE HALL/LAW/BOWLS CLUB
To receive any updates regarding the SLA.
 
13. MEMORIALS
a) Old Memorials - A member of the public who is the current custodian, is expected to attend to give a report. Chair of LVH may also contribute to this item. The PC may then consider any action required.
b) War Memorial, to receive any updates regarding the War Memorial, NKDC funding and to agree any action.
 
14. PLAY AREA PROJECT
a) To receive any updates regarding an Opening Event and agree any action required.
 
15. GEORGE HOTEL.
To receive any updates following the presentation on behalf of interested individuals, regarding the feasibility of a Community Right to Bid (Assets of Community Value in Legislation) application in relation to the George Hotel.
 
16. VILLAGE WALK
a) To consider any arrangements for a ‘Village Walk’ by PC members.
b) To consider any arrangements for a ‘Highways Walk’ by LCC Highways representative and members of the PC. 
 
17. AGENDA ITEMS FOR NEXT MEETING. To consider any items for inclusion in the next agenda.
 
18. DATE OF NEXT MEETING. 
a) To note that the next meeting is the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council, Tuesday 14 May 2024.
b) To agree any arrangements for the APM (Annual Parish Meeting) which must be held between 1 March and 1 June.
