CHAIRMAN’S OPENING REMARKS
1. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE.
To receive any apologies for absence.
2. DECLARATION OF INTERESTS
Members of the Parish Council are required to declare any personal or prejudicial interests they may have in any matter which is to be considered at this meeting.
3. PUBLIC FORUM
To resolve to suspend the meeting to allow no more than 15 minutes of public forum.
4. MINUTES
To approve the Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on 13 December 2022.

7. HIGHWAYS ISSUES
a) To receive any updates regarding buses and HGVs and to consider any action required.
b) To receive any updates regarding the footpath adjacent to the railway bridge and to consider any action required.
8. PARISH CLERK
To consider the Parish Clerk’s Report (to follow).
9. CORRESPONDENCE
To consider correspondence (to follow).
10. FINANCIAL MATTERS
a) To consider the Financial Report (to follow).
b) To ratify payments made between 11/12/2022 – 05/01/2023:
c) To consider any payments due at 10/01/2023.
d) To review the budget update and to consider the Precept request for 2023-24 final submission on Friday 27 January 2023.
e) To note and approve the Clerk’s additional hours worked from 01/07/22 – 31/12/22.
f) To note any amendments to the Clerk’s contracted hours from January 2023, due to increased hours worked over the previous year.
11. PARISH FIELD/TREE PROJECT.
To receive any updates, if available.
12. PLAY AREA
a) Monthly reports received.
b) To receive any updates regarding the picnic benches, following a request to the VK for painting and the legs sealing to prevent them rotting.
c) To receive any updates on the proposed new Play Area and grant funding arrangements.
13. LITTER PICKING.
To receive any updates regarding litter picking.
14. VILLAGE HALL/LAW/BOWLS CLUB
a) To receive any updates.
b) To agree arrangements for the drafting of Service Level Agreements (SLA) for the above groups
c) To consider the appointment of a Working Group to progress this.
15. PARKING NEAR THE PRIMARY SCHOOL.
To receive any updates following the deployment of a barrier.
16. MEMORIALS
To receive any information regarding the Memorials and any action required.
17. GENERAL POLICIES
a) To consider adopting the Financial Regulations, which was deferred from the last three meetings to allow further consideration.
b) To consider adopting the revised Co-option Policy, to include the new legislation regarding eligibility criteria.
18. AGENDA ITEMS FOR NEXT MEETING. To consider any items for inclusion in the next agenda.
19. DATE OF NEXT MEETING. To note that the next meeting of the Parish Council as Tuesday 14 February 2023.
To agree dates for 2023 and to consider a date for the Annual Parish Meeting (between 1st March and 1st June).
