NOTES OF THE MEETING OF THE PARISH COUNCIL OF

LEADENHAM

 

Held on TUESDAY 9th December 2025 at 7.00pm at Leadenham Village Hall.

3. PUBLIC FORUM – None

 

4. Minutes - It was unanimously RESOLVED that Notes of the Meeting of the Parish Council held on 11 November 2025 be approved as a true record and signed as Minutes.

 

5. VILLAGE HALL –

a) Lease/operational arrangements –. ACTION: Clerk to arrange meeting with VH to discuss

b) VH insurance – to be discussed in meeting

 

6. RENEWAL/EXTENSION OF LEASE

a) It was RESOLVED to request an amendment to the lease to allow nonsporting community events on sports field. ACTION: Clerk to contact agent

b) It was resolved to instruct Bridge McFarland

 

 

7. Planning Applications and Issues

a) Applications received: None

8. Solar FarmS

a) Cllr Martyn provided a general update from the Cliff Villages Solar Action Group

b) Communication. ACTION Clerk to run a Facebook Poll for resident feedback

 

9. Reports of Representatives

10. Correspondence

 

a) It was RESOLVED to support LVH2000 decision for Welbourn PC request to use the VH for emergency use

 

11. Clerk REPORT

Clerk informed Councillors that recent flooding around the A607 traffic light junction affecting the post office had been reported and that Highways and County Councillor had been contacted requesting further information and action to resolve the issue. Advised to continue to use Fix my Street. New bin location- discussion over best position for a new bin to be installed. ACTION: Clerk to contact Environment Officer for advice. Clerk advised of annual leave over the Christmas & New Year period

a) Clerk advised that Leadenham estates had confirmed they will be including the trees on the playing field in their next survey’s

b) Tree locations – deferred

 

15. WAR MEMORIAL

Cllr Linacre reported that he has one quote back to restore the memorial and is awaiting a further two
