MINUTES OF THE EXTRA-ORDINARY MEETING OF THE PARISH COUNCIL OF
LEADENHAM
Held on Wednesday, 13th August 2025 at 7.00pm at Leadenham Village Hall
PRESENT: Chair: Cllr Melanie Nelstrop, Vice-Chair: Cllr Spencer Hall,
Councillors: Cllr Martyn Everett, Cllr Karin Willgoose, Cllr Peter Linacre
Sharon Johnson (Clerk/RFO).
The Chair, Cllr Melanie Nelstrop, opened the meeting and welcomed everyone.
1. Apologies for Absence: Cllr David Nelstrop
2. Declaration of Interests: None
3. Public Forum: None
4. Village Maintenance:
Updates and quotes were received regarding village maintenance.
It was RESOLVED to accept quote A but to remove items 4 and 10 from the written quote as these will be carried out by local farmers. ACTION: Clerk to instruct Hough Gardening & Handyman Services
5. Play Park:
An update on funding and new equipment options was received. It was RESOLVED to proceed with Finding Fitness and apply for funding with National Lottery. ACTION: Clerk to work with Finding Fitness on funding application
6. Date of Next Meeting:
The next meeting of the Parish Council is scheduled for Tuesday, 9th September 2025.
There being no further business the Chair ended the meeting at 19:20
