When will the work take place?
Work is due to start on 7 th August 2023 and is scheduled for completion by the end of September 2023. Some elements of the work will require an overnight closure of Winthorpe roundabout these have been programmed as follows.
• Friday the 1st and Saturday the 2nd of September
• Friday the 8th and Saturday the 9th of September.
Please note that all our planned roadworks may be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
How will the work affect traffic? To keep our programme for these works as short as possible and to minimise disruption to the local community, residents, businesses, and road users, we will work under road closures between 8pm and 6am, Monday to Friday. During these closures fully signed diversion routes will be in place, which have been agreed with the Local Authority.
How will the work affect businesses and residents? We will make sure that access to businesses and residences is maintained wherever possible.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will do our very best to complete the work as quickly as possible, keeping disturbances and noise to a minimum.
