Transparency Code for Smaller Authorities
The Smaller Authorities Transparency code is a piece of legislation that came into effect in April 2015. It requires all smaller authorities, with a turnover of less than £25,000, to have measures in place to ensure they are transparent and accountable to their communities.
The code requires the council to publish key spending and governance information online.
